The Vic Firth American Classic X5B Hickory Wood Tip Drum Sticks feature an extended length over a normal 5B and a tear drop tip. Slightly larger diameter than a 5A that makes them ideal for playing rock, concertband or forpractice.

This version is the X5BPG. A lacquer free stick with special Pure Grit abrasive texture processing. A consistant classic feel that’s great forsweatyhands.

The American Classic line combines tradition and Vic Firth style. With bold designs for fuller sound, the Classics are turned from select hickory a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also capable of withstanding a great deal of shock, making it highly durable.The wood tips are deeply back-cut for intensified cymbal response.
