Description
The body of this electronic crate-style cajon from Pearl is constructed using Shorea plywood with a crate design featuring a meranti faceplate. Meranti is a wood known for its relative hardness and straight grain, making it ideal for cajons. A built-in bass port magnifies the massive low-end tone of the cajon, while three sets of fixed snare wires provide a bright, crisp snare response. A preinstalled piezo trigger and 1/4″ jack allows you to plug into any PA or amp to amplify the sound. This cajon also has a silkscreened finish that features a Willie Seymour Sparks design.
