The Black Swamp *LIMITED EDITION* BSP25A-CF 25th Anniversary Carbon Fiber Timpani Mallets are a duotone mallet with a combination of inner and outter felt producing two distinct playing surfaces.A wood core is covered with purple felt on one side and softer grey felt over an inner felt strip on the other. The special silver shafts are 9/16″ in diameter.
The mallets are weight and pitch matched precisely, with the carbon fiber shafts providing consistent feel and response with no vibration feedback. The exterior felt is meticulously hand sewn and fitted to each mallet precisely.
