This version is so close to the original that owners of Oahu instruments buy LS-8 pickups and hardware from Gold Tone for use in the restoration of their prized guitars. The LS-8/L Left-Handed 8-String Lap Steel Guitar is set up for F6 tuning (DFACDFAC) but other tunings can be accommodated by installing strings that are gauged for those tunings. This is the left-handed model.
